Rotulu Inc. is a logistics company focused on school transportation, connecting parents, drivers, and schools to ensure safe and efficient travel for children. As a Full Stack Developer, I worked on the company’s corporate website, using VueJS and Next.js for the front end and Java for the back end. I designed interactive web features, optimized backend processes, and ensured seamless integration between systems, supporting Rotulu’s mission to enhance school transportation safety.

At Brainstation, I learned the fundamentals of software engineering while collaborating on group projects with classmates, tackling real-world challenges proposed by partner companies. I worked with frontend technologies like VueJS, Vite, and backend tools such as NodeJS and ExpressJS to build impactful solutions.

During my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland, I focused on Object-Oriented Programming and Artificial Intelligence. The object-oriented courses honed my skills in designing modular software using languages like Java and C++, emphasizing encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. In AI, I explored machine learning and neural networks, gaining hands-on experience in developing intelligent systems to solve complex problems.

Before and during the first two years of my studies, I worked as a freelance developer, designing Python scripts for automation, web scraping, and other applications. This hands-on experience allowed me to tackle real-world problems, automate repetitive tasks, and extract data from various web sources. Collaborating with clients on diverse projects honed my programming skills and deepened my understanding of Python's versatile libraries and frameworks, laying a strong foundation for my academic and professional pursuits in computer science.
